    2. 6 Hours Tour Enjoy the Tour!

Your guided ATV ride is private and you’ll start off by driving into the cemetery to see the colorful graves. You can skip this if you prefer. Next stop is at the Valley of the Mushrooms and Frogs where you can see the rock formations and buy handicrafts from the Indians.

The mission of San Ignacio is next for photos and your guide will tell you about the Raramuri Indian boarding school that sits next door. You may see the local Indians playing basketball or attending church, depending on your tour date. Driving on through the valley, you’re likely to see animals in the fields and Indians walking along the road.

You’ll drive onto the Valley of the Monks where you can do a bit of hiking among the huge monolithic rock formations. You’ll then drive through back forest trails to Lake Arareko for photos and then through more forest to the plains again where you’ll stop for an extended lunch break to relax and even enjoy a short nap if you need it.

Continuing on, you’ll drive on back dirt roads to a small village, then up to a point where you can see Creel down below. Entering back into Creel now, you’ll stop in the main plaza for a photo of the CREEL sign and end the tour back at our offices.

This tour starts and ends in Creel.

We recommend long sleeves and sunblock on all your bits not covered to avoid sunburn. Shorts or pants are fine and we recommend some shoes with traction to do a bit hiking in the Valley of the Monks area.

No, alcoholic beverages are not permitted on this tour, nor should you ever drink and drive anywhere, at anytime. If you seem like you have been drinking, you will not be permitted to do the tour and no refunds will be given.

Yes, that is correct. All our CAN AM ATV’s are actual 2-seaters and since pricing is per ATV, 2 people can ride for the same, great, low price that is published here on the site.
