Cancellations and Changes

Once you receive a confirmation your reservation is guaranteed. In order to maintain our commitment to all of our clients, The 3 Amigos operate a strict booking and cancellation policy:

Individual Reservations

30 days or more prior to excursion date – 100% refund, minus deposit used to hold and guarantee services since day of reservation (roughly 35%), minus any fees incurred on our end to refund your money.
Fewer than 30 days prior to excursion date – we will accept date changes if possible, but no refunds for any reason.
No shows or late arrivals – no refund

NOTE: For all Mexico public holiday bookings, including, but not limited to, the two weeks of Semana Santa (Easter weeks), and the weeks surrounding Christmas/New Years, or any other Mexican public holidays (statutory, civic or festivity), no refunds can be given for any reason at any time after the reservation is made. Please be sure of your bookings before your make them during holiday seasons and we highly recommend you purchase your own trip insurance.

Changes to your reservation or cancellations can be requested via email only by writing to info@amigos3.com. All changes are subject to availability.

Group Reservations (private charters of groups of 10 people or more)

60 days or more prior to excursion date – 100% refund, minus deposit used to hold and guarantee services since day of reservation (roughly 35%), minus any fees incurred on our end to refund your money
Fewer than 60 days prior to excursion date – we will accept date changes but no refunds for any reason
No shows or late arrivals – no refund

Charges to your Card

Your credit card will be charged as soon as your The 3 Amigos tour or rental can be confirmed – this is normally within a few hours of sending your reservation to us. Your statement will reflect the booking number and the word ‘Trekksoft’ on it as that is our merchant account card processing company. Please note that this company is outside the USA and you may need to authorize your bank to allow the card to be processed as some banks have a fail-safe built in to automatically reject any charges from outside the USA unless previously authorized.

Prices and Exchange Rates

Prices and charges are quoted and made in US dollars for all advance reservations due to the instability of the peso.

Credit Card Safety

The 3 Amigos want you to feel safe when making a secure reservation online. For this reason we use either the Trekksoft Gateway to process your card, or we will send you an email invoice via PayPal that you can pay securely online so we never see your information directly.

**On the day of your tour, you must bring a form of personal ID when you check in such as a driver’s license to confirm your identity. You must also bring the voucher that will be sent to you when your booking is confirmed. Your voucher is like cash so do not forget it as it is your formal receipt of payment and must be shown to receive services.

Insurance

The 3 Amigos does not provide any participant insurance of any kind. The 3 Amigos highly recommend you purchase your own trip insurance to cover you for any medical emergencies that may arise or for trip cancellation problems you may incur.

Liability Waiver & Release of Responsibility

You will be required to accept our online liability and release of responsibility waiver that will be sent to you by email for all advance reservations. If you fail to accept it and submit it back to us before your tour start time or rental pickup time, you will need to sign our paper waiver instead at our offices. You must understand that all rental equipment and guided tours through the canyons are considered adventure based activities in nature and we highly recommend you purchase your own trip insurance to cover you for any medical emergencies that may arise or for trip cancellation problems you may incur.
