SINFOROSA
"The Narrows"
Sinforosa Canyon is the 2nd deepest in the Copper Canyon system at 1830 meters. It is also the most narrow and because of this it is extremely difficult to hike so if you are looking for a challenge then this is your canyon.
This canyon is located just outside of the town of Guachochi. Just drive down an easy dirt road for an hour and "voila"! you are there. Overlook point is behind a fence and closes at sunset. There is a small fee charged by the locals to enter and no open fires are permitted inside the park grounds.
There is a great little hike you can do, on your own or with a local guide, to Rosalinda Waterfall. The whole hike takes about 5 hours round trip.
