Rental days are 24 hours and all Amigo Trucks come standard with the following extras:
- 3 magazines about the Copper Canyon to give you more info. about the area
- XM satellite radio with over 180 channels of music, sports, weather and news
- 1 picnic lunch complete with ice chest full of picnic foods, beverages and table with chairs, you even get a tablecloth! (Vehicle must be prepaid in order to get picnic lunch do to time contraints).
- 1 Amigo Pack full of information and maps
- 1 first aid kit
PRICES:
- 1 day = $1,300 pesos ($130US)
- 2 days = $2,600 pesos ($260US)
- 3 days = $3,900 pesos ($390US)
- and so on and so on...
We do give a 5% discount for all Amigo Truck rentals of 5 days or more.
All Amigo Trucks hold up to 5 persons inside. Cost is the same for either 1 person or up to 5 people.
In order to reserve your Amigo Truck, you must pay the full amount no less than 2 weeks in advance directly to The 3 Amigos Mexican bank account.
Due to high demand and a limited supply of Amigo Trucks, all Amigo Truck payments are non-refundable and MUST be paid at least 2 weeks in advance. We apologize for the inconvenience but this is necessary in order to be able to guarantee Amigo Trucks for everyone.

Self-drive Packages
So you're the independent type eh? Then this is your best way to see the Canyons on your own, but with the support of a local company. The Packages below are designed for people who like to get out on their own and see and do things on their own schedule. All your hotels are already booked and paid and your itinerary will allow you to see as much as possible to really maximize your time here.
Don't forget, you can just send us an email to info@amigos3.com and we'll customize a package just for you if these 3 example trips aren't what you are looking for. We also have drivers available with our Suburbans and Vans if you prefer to sit back and leave the driving to someone else.
3 nights / 3 days
Day 1:
Drive from Creel to Batopilas to spend the next two nights, visiting many sights en route such as:
- Valley of the Mushrooms, Frogs & Monks
- San Ignacio Mission
- Lake Arareko
- Cusarare Village
- Cusarare Mission
- Loyola Museum
- Basihuare Canyon
- Copper Canyon
- Batopilas Canyon
Sleep at Riverside Lodge (open Oct.-May only) or Real de Minas tonight.
Day 2:
- Lost Cathedral of Satevo
- Ruins of Hacienda San Miguel
- The old aqua duct for bird watching
- Stroll the streets to admire the old architecture
Sleep at the same hotel again tonight.
Day 3:
Return to Creel area today but stop in Cusarare, 30 minutes before Creel to sleep at the rustic Sierra Lodge Hotel and visit the Cusarare Waterfall. All meals included at this hotel as well as complimentary margarita's before dinner time.
Day 4:
Return Amigo Truck to our Creel office by 9am and be on your way...(Note: this trip can be extended with extra nights in Creel, other hotel arrangements in other parts of the canyons, extra transfers, tours, etc...Just let us know!)

Day 5:
Return to Creel today and sleep at the Best Western Hotel in downtown Creel. Time for shopping or bike riding in the afternoon. Return your Amigo Truck Package tonight so you can make a quick get-away in the morning.

Day 6:
Leave for Cerocahui today from Creel by taking the Chepe train to Bahuichivo train stop.The Best Western will drop you off at the station in Creel this morning. You'll spend the next two nights here at a comfortable lodge called San Isidro. All meals included as well as your transfers to and from the train staition in Bahuichivo.
Day 7:
Today you will take a vehicle driven, guided tour to the village of Urique at the bottom of Urique Canyon. This trip will take all day long and includes a regional "discada" lunch prepared for you fresh by the river in Urique. Lunch will be served on tables with tablecloths and accompanied by wine, guacamole and tortillas. A "discada" is a Mexican style stir-fry that includes an array of meats and vegetables. It is cooked on a "disco" or wok type pot over an open flame.
Sleep at San Isidro Lodge again tonight.
Day 8:
Optional hike to Cerocahui waterfall today. Be sure to let your booking agent know if you want to add this trip in.
You'll be transferred to the train station and head back to Creel today. The Best Western Hotel will pick you up at the train station. Sleep at Best Western tonight.
Cost is $1387US per person

Please keep in mind that although these trips listed here are a fantastic way to see the canyons, your options are really limitless. You can combine truck rentals with any packages, stand alone or whatever! Sky is the limit.
