TOURS
What to look for
Tours in the Creel area:
There are dozens of independent individuals who organize tours in Creel, in addition to the Hotels in the area. A word of caution: Please come by our offices first to get a free map of the area so you will see where the places are to visit around Creel. There are many places that you can walk to for free or bike or scooter to for much cheaper than a tour that someone may wish to sell you. There are also public buses to many places.
The 3 Amigos also offer tours, usually with an English speaking driver, based upon availability of course. Our tours are generally a combination of several tours in one so you are out and busy the whole day rather than just a few hours to visit the nearby rocks. We want you to leave the area fully satisfied that you saw all that you could as we know most people don't have a lot of time to spend in one place. All our tours are also private, which means you won't find several strangers have been stuffed in with you and your family just so we can make more money. No sir! You pay for the vehicle and the time and it is completely private. No one gets in without your say so. Having said this, you can of course find others to share the cost with you if you prefer.
All tours require a minimum number of people in order to operate. This is because there is a minimum amount of money needed to run the tour, pay for gas, pay the driver/guide, etc... If you do not have the minimum number required, don't be discouraged. If you are willing to pay for the basic price on your own, you can have a private tour.
Please remember that you can rent an Amigo Truck and drive yourself as well if you prefer to do it on your own. Cost is $120US per 24 hours.
